Semper Finein has been run on many platforms with many different technologies - Wordpress, Apache and PHP, Python and Flask, containerized services, and now Django. Django aligns with a lot of the tooling backends I use so hopefully I can learn as I publish! So far, it's taken quite a bit more effort than I thought to stand this up, even with all the built-in tools and add-ons for editing. However, the Django seems to have enough customization to allow me to do the things I want to do while also having enough GUI and WYSIWYG prompts to let me quickly add new content, tag, and move items around.
Hopefully this web site will last longer than previous iterations, and I can continue to add content more rapidly than before.
